« The Armeno-Kypchaks and Nestorianism ».

The peoples of inner Asia were characterized by absolute religious tolerance. Here it has played a huge role Shamanism, Shintoism and Zen Buddhism which allows a different way to reach the Absolute.
The peoples of Inner Asia have been centuries of influence Tengrism (the philosophy of Shan-De), Buddhism, Mazdaism (the name of a number of ancient Iranian religions previous to Zoroastrianism) Manichaeism (religious and philosophical doctrine, syncretized Eastern religious teachings and Christianity) of Greco-Buddhism and finally Nestorianism which played the final formation of the worldview of the peoples of Inner Asia . Armenian monks preached Nestorianism through the Kipchak language. Armenians assimilated with the Kypchaks but at the same time preserved their religion, culture and worldview.
Through the efforts of the missionaries Nestorianism was widespread among the Iranian, Turkic and Mongolian peoples of Central Asia, the Great Steppe and the Caucasus, including Ossetians, Khorezmians, Sogdians, Turcuts, Khazars, Polovtsian Karakitais, Kerayit, Markit, Naiman, Uighurs, Karluk аnd Kirghiz.
Nestorianism became the center of Ctesiphon (in Iraq), located in the episcopal chair of Nishapur (Iran), Herat (Afghanistan), Merv (Turkmenistan) and Samarkand (Uzbekistan). There was also a united diocese Nevakent and Kashgar (Kyrgyz and Uighurs). Of particular interest is the spread of Nestorianism in Central Asia. Metropolia was Merv (Turkmenistan) and the second largest center of Sogd became Nestorians, whose capital – Samarkand – for a while becomes an arena of struggle between Christianity and Islam.
Thus, Nestorian Christianity in ancient times was the most common (as in the territory, and the number of practicing) form of Christianity. It was Nestorianism that became the forerunner to the appearance of the Sufi orders in Islam which are completely copied by the Christian Orders of the Missionaries
